BioShock 2 DLC Hits Xbox 360 and PS3 May 11

The latest DLC for BioShock 2 was supposed to be released a couple weeks back but was unexpectedly delayed. Thankfully for fans of the franchise, 2k Games announced today that you will be able to get your hands on the “Rapture Metro” DLC pack May 11, today!

The downloadable content is available on both the PS3’s PlayStation Network and Microsoft Live for Xbox 360. It’s going to cost you $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points. As of yet there is no date set for the PC version of the DLC but are said to be coming “soon”.

With the “Rapture Metro” pack you will have access to a feature called “rebirth” that is essentially “Prestige” from Modern Warfare allowing you to be demoted from level 50 back to level 1 to receive the reward of a “special mask”. Also included in the DLC are 6 new multiplayer maps and new trophies for the PS3 and achievements for the Xbox 360.

Also being released by 2K tomorrow is the Zigo the Fisherman and Blanche the Actress character pack that is shown in the image above. That will be available for $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points for players who didn’t already receive them with their pre order copy from GameStop.
