If you are a video game player in your twenties like me, then undoubtedly your gaming experience included the Sega console. Sega was a revolution in video games primarily because of its loved games. One of these iconic games was Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sega’s Sonic was a fast paced game with an agile hedgehog as the title character. He ‘rolled’ around in super speed to get coins, fuel, etc. The first Sonic game was released in 1991 and since then many additions have been made to the game.
Almost all the games were enjoyable and highly addictive. Now Sega has made an exciting announcement that will surely please Apple device owners.
For some time now there were rumors and unconfirmed news about Sega releasing a Sonic game for the Apple device platform (iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad). The game has now been confirmed by a blog entry on Sega’s site.
The game will be called “Sonic 4 Episode 1” and will be a blend of internal suggestions and fan feedback. It will be exciting to see fan suggestions be incorporated into an already loved game.
Sonic 4 Episode 1 will be released later in the year. Click here to read Sega’s official blog post regarding the matter.
