With the new iOS4 update just now going live, there is some more excitement for awaiting iPhone fans. Seems that some iPhone 4G orders have officially started to ship this morning. Friday several customers noticed that the status of their new iPhone was “prepared for shipment,” now this morning that batch of shiny new iPhones have left the infamous Chinese manufacturing sector.
Apple has sent out several FedEx notifications stating a June 24th delivery date, but more than a handful of customers have noticed that they show a June 23rd delivery date. Which we all know is day early. More than likely, Apple will request that the new shipments be held till the official launch day. This same thing happened with the iPad deliveries, and actually a few lucky customers got their iPads a day early.
Hopefully have already pre-order your new iPhone 4G, it reported that any new orders won’t be shipped till July. Apple has reported over 600,000 iPhone orders already, which means it will probably be in short supply come launch day.
