Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS that was on firmware 3.1.3, with the 05.12.01 baseband (it was JAILBREAKED and UNLOCKED)..then, the other day, I accidentaly upgraded to firmware IOS 4 and now Cydia is gone and when I insert my Vodafone sim card, I have NO service! Please, help me somebody!!!!
@sreenath well now you have updated you cant get the blobs as they are saved using cydia and as your iphone is not jailbroken you cant use cydia and the blobs are diffrent for all 3gs new bootroms devices so its not as easy as juyst downloading them from the net sorry mate its a waiting game at the moment but i dont think it will be that long fingers crossed lol…. now 3gs (new bootrom) owners do not update using sn0wbreeze as u will loose your jailbreak i did this all went well to start with i updated cydia downloaded ifile it was going great i loved it!! the new folders are great but with a jailbroken phone anyway
back to the story then i wanted to get my appstore apps back on my phone i synced it with itunes thats sync not update and apple the twats updated my phone while it was syncing they removed cydia and updated my bassband-words cant explane how much apple have taken the piss how dare they update me without asking me first and remove stuff from my phone without asking me they are criminals and i want to take them to court a-holes i have spent around 50 pounds on jailbroken stuff and they just removed my ability to use that stuff for now and mabe for ever they are thieves

thanks but yall never mentioned that you must have the original sim card to activate the phone if you dont you will have a headache with the 3gs 4.0 5.13.04.
I have an iphone 3GS (3.1.3) new bootrom, factory unlocked, and i upgraded to iOS4.0.1. i used jailbreakme.com, it said succeeded, but screen got stuck in pink wallpaper and i had to close safari. it installed cydia on my home screen, but when i connect my iphone with PC Suite (i can not use iTunes, it says there was an error sync applications) it says iphone is not jailbroken. what should i do. i have no backups.

I have a 3GS (jailbroken) with software version 3.1.3 w/new bootrom. Can you tell me how I can get version 4.0.1 now? Because when I open up Itunes now, it only has the option of updating to the 4.0.2 and I don’t want that since I will want to jailbreak it.
