There have been many solutions proposed to fix the iPhone 4’s well-documented attenuation issues. However, most of these solutions aren’t ideal, whether it’s a DIY fix that takes away from the great design of the device, or Apple’s own bumper case that adds unwanted bulk. This is why the InvisibleSHIELD seems to be one of the better options available.
The company has run some tests (embedded below) on their latest product for iPhone 4, proving that it helps as good as any other solution currently available. There’s no word whether or not this might be an option offered by Apple when they run out of bumper cases.
If you’re not familiar with InvisibleSHEILD protective cases, the product is essentially a thin clear, plastic film that covers every inch of the device and is applied like your typical screen protector. You can grab the full invisibleSHIELD for $24.99, or just the strips to cover the antenna and steel frame for $9.99.
