The Apple style stunt of holding special event to unveil features & announcements doesn’t seems to work for others. Today’s special event held by Google didn’t catch enough buzz compared to Apple’s event. But that shouldn’t be of concern to Android enthusiast as new features unveiled by Google are quite exciting for Android phone users but yes only for those having Android 2.2 Froyo.
Most of the speculations like Android 3.0 preview and market enhancements etc. about today’s Google event went wrong. So what did Google announce today, well the first announcement was about Voice Actions which is basically addition to Android’s voice search feature, Voice Actions lets you to control your Android phone by just speaking.

The second announcement of today’s event was the official release of Chrome to Phone which was previewed back at Google IO conference early this year. Chrome to Phone is Google chrome extension to send links, webpages, map direction to Android phone right from browser itself. Now this feature looks more promising and in feature you might be able to send in reverse way i.e from phone to chrome. Video after the break,
