Nokia, world’s biggest cellphone maker but on the other hand lagging behind other smartphone companies such as Apple and Blackberry, made a smart move today by unveiling 3 new smartphones to win back the market share. Nokia has named the new models as E7, C7 and C6 (updated version). All models come with a large touchscreen backed by the powerful Symbian Software. Nokia’s new models are told to fall in range of $300 – $600.
Nokia E7, targeting the business users presents a sliding style. The smartphones brings in a large touch-screen display whereas the slide unveils the QWERTY keypad. The smartphone comes back with Microsoft Exchange Active Sync which powers a real-time and secure access to corporate email.
C7 and C6 are two smartphones which might become winner for all. While the E7 has been targeted purely for the business and corporate users, the other two phones might be a welcome to the other smartphone users.
With the new CEO appointed, the company eyes to build back investor as well as consumer confidence.
