OpenFeint Support for Android Available Now

For those of you that aren’t familiar with OpenFeint, think a cross-platform Xbox Live-like social gaming community that supports achievements, leaderboards, and cross-platform communication for supported games. Developer of the service, Aurora Feint, also plans to implement real-time cross platform multiplayer and voice chat capabilities later in the year.

Until now, the service has been available mostly on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch games. However, as PocketGamer reports, Android users now have access to the service through a number of titles in the Android Marketplace. There are also over 20 games slated for release in the next month that include OpenFeint support.
