
Google has just updated the Gmail for Android app and has officially made it available via the Android Marketplace. Among the new features implemented into the update include Gmail’s new Priority Inbox feature as well as “show quoted text” function, and floating actions toolbar similar to the current browser based Gmail client.
Unfortunately, those that aren’t running Android 2.2 Froyo are currently out of luck with 2.2 being a minimum requirement for the new Gmail Android app. You can grab the latest Gmail app from the Android Market now or scan the QR code below.
