While the HTC Shift UMPC (Ultra-Mobile PC) hasn’t been getting much attention since its launch a couple years back, it has been given a new life with a freshly installed version of Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6.
The device originally ran Windows Vista Business 32-bit (notebook mode), but now thanks to developers at xda developers. While this might not be an option for those who rely on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as those functions are apparently not working under Mac OS X. However, if you are brave enough to turn your HTC Shift into a decent machine, installing Leopard will certainly bring you one step closer.
