If you didn’t know already, Microsoft has plans to launch a pretty major update to the Xbox 360 Dashboard sometime before November 4th, the date when Kinect launches. While the update will presumably bring support and new features for Kinect, Microsoft is tight-lipped as of yet and there are no signs of Kinect in the beta which is taking place currently.

You can check out full video walkthroughs, c/o our friends at Joystiq here, that show off some of the new features including new Dashboard and family settings, new Avatar features, ESPN content and support, new Netflix search functionality, as well as overall Dashboard UI improvements. There were also some improvements made to Zune video as well as new music and Zune Pass integration.
