Google Inc. replaced the Google Nexus One Webstore by unleashing the Google Phone Gallery, which has the capability to compare Android Handsets. The Google Phone Gallery official went online on Sept 29. giving users the control to view, purchase and compare the Android handsets. Up to three smartphones can be compared from a wide variety of over 40 Android Phones available on the site.
Android Phones can be viewed on the homepage either in a grid or a list view. Each handset is detailed with an image, product name, manufacturer, carrier name, as well as a link to let you compare the phone. The Google Phone Gallery also brings in a search tab which has the capability of Google Product Search Technology.
A total of 16 countries with 4 Android Phone Manufacturer including Motorola, Samsung, HTC and LG, while 35 carriers are on board the new Google Phone Gallery. All Android Phone Handsets listed on the Google Phone Gallery are pre-installed with Android Market Application Store which also include Gmail, Google Search and Google Maps.
Furthermore, the best part being the comparison engine which lets you compare technical specifications and features of three phones side by side. Users also have the option to make a purchase of the phone online from their respective carriers.
Google will be adding more phones and countries as new devices unveil in the Android Market.
