Twitter, one of the fastest growing social network told its now 100% new. The new Twitter has now been completely rolled out and is available to all its users. A month back Twitter unveiled a new look which was only available for a few but slowly passed on to many. Twitter has now started offering its new look to users worldwide but with a choice to switch to the older version if they prefer.
As of today, everyone who uses Twitter now has access to the new Twitter. Whether you’re just signing up today or you’ve been a user for years, this new experience is finally real for everyone – all 160 million of you – and in six languages to boot. So while we still (and will always) have plenty of work to do, we’re pleased with the positive reaction so far. People are telling us that they love that we’ve kept the timeline simple while also providing a richer experience through the details pane.
The new Twitter is radically redesigned which brings in a two-pane outlook for its users. The first panel displays some 90 million messages everyday from tweets made by users worldwide while the second pane offers images within the text.
The old version displayed links to photos and videos which were forwarded to other websites or browser tabs. Since every single social networks wants the users to stick the page more as to generate more and more revenue, this redesign will surely do wonders after 16 or more photo and video sharing sites agreed to embed content on Twitter.
