Facebook Brings Down LOLapps Social Games

Facebook, one of the largest and most accessed social network available online, with thousands of applications for its users, have blocked LOLapps, which has a user database of more than 150 million active users. LOLapps is one of the biggest social games providers on Facebook platform but now things may differ as Facebook pulled the plug.

LOLapps offer games which include:

1. Critter Island

2. Garden Life

3. Diva Life

4. Band Of Heroes

5. Supermodel: The Game

6. Yakuza Lords

7. Dante’s Inferno

8. Champions Online

All games went offline, with the page greeting users as ”Page Not Found”.

Social games have contributed to a great amount of users attracted to the social network. Amongst many Facebook became popular due to games such as Zynga Poker, Farmville, Champions Online, and much more. Users have been widely affected due to the Facebook move.

Little was known about the reason as to what made Facebook bring down LOLapps social games. VentureBeat reported according to a Facebook spokesperson:

We have disabled applications from LOLapps due to violations of our terms.

While it was disclosed that due to some terms Facebook had removed the Apps, it did not disclose as to what violation they made. We hope Facebook and LOLapps can resolve the issue quickly and greet users.
