Google has finally released an update to the world’s fastest web browser tagged as Google Chrome 7. The latest version is now available for Mac, Windows and the Linux OS which offers hundreds of bug fixes and under-the-hood improvements like the updated HTML5 parser.
The version is update with bug fixes with hundreds of them been fixed while a few still remain and waiting. New features such as the support for the HTML5 File API, allows sites and web apps to read the content of local files. This surely is a plus point for all those web apps which rely greatly on the feature. Another great feature being the ability to upload complete folders from your PC has been added.
There is also a new AppleScript feature added in the Mac OS X release which means that you can script Chrome or use it with the OS X Automator tool.
All Chrome users would get an update automatically but for those looking forward to download it directly can use the link below to grab the latest version of the browser from the Google Chrome website.
