We told you earlier today that the elusive white iPhone 4 showed up in the Apple Store app, leading many to believe that Apple would make the device available for the upcoming holiday season. However, a report from Reuters is now claiming Apple has once again delayed the white model of the new iPhone until Spring 2011.
While the company has declined to comment further on the reason for the delays, spokesperson Trudy Muller tells Reuters, “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again.”
Apple has only commented once on the delays back when the device was originally launched, claiming that white iPhone 4 has proven to be “more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected.”
