Since the word has been out about the upcoming Android OS Gingerbread tagged as version 3.0, things have been dull and less is revealed about it. News just came in that Mobile phone maker Motorola would be the first one to implement Android 3.0 on a upcoming gadget. It has also been told, that the device which would feature the Android Gingerbread would not be a smartphone and rather be a tablet PC. Google’s OS would be powered on a Motorola Tablet PC which for now is being tagged as the MOTOPAD.
According to various reports, the upcoming tablet PC would boast a 7-inch touchscreen display while being powered by the Google Mobile Operating System. The news surfaced as a tech site, Mobile-Review.com owned by Eldar Murtazin tweeted:
No specific details on specs or a date was announced as to when the slate would hit the market. But for now we only know that the upcoming Slate would be a 7-inch version, of course Touch Screen, and would be powered by the Android 3.0 OS.
