HP’s upcoming gadget is being tagged as a hybrid device which adjusts in between a smartphone and a larger tablet. The device would offer a screen size which other smartphones lack, a 5-inch screen while other traditional phones offer a 4-inch display.
The gadget would offer smooth multitasking with a number of enhancements from the original webOS. Palm users would be aware of the ability of webOS 2.0 as the company previewed the operating system in the recently announced HP Palm Pre 2.
The other excitement would be the company unveiling the Palm Pad, same, powered with the webOS 2.0. Users would be left with a confused choice as they make a choice between HP’s Slate backed by Windows 7 or HP Palm’s PalmPad. Even though we see webOS 2.0 as a strong operating system, we would surely vote on HP Slate as it get powered with the already comfortable and ease-to-use OS.
