Comcast internet users across the eastern United States are experiencing outages with their service tonight. Some users are just experiencing periodic outages, while others haven’t been able to access their Comcast service for hours. The problem appears to be a Comcast DNS issue, and because of this many users have been able to remedy the problem by switching their servers to an alternate DNS. You can switch to Google’s server’s at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
