O2, one of the largest carrier in UK, has just announced the availability of Samsung Wave 723. The Bada powered Samsung smartphone will be available for free with a monthly plan of at least £20. With the release of Samsung Wave 723, the UK market proudly welcomed the second bada smartphone after Samsung S8500 was launched back in April.
Bada is the mobile operating system developed by Samsung Electronics, covering both high and low-end handsets while the company claims that the OS has the proprietary feature to replace feature phones to smartphones.
O2 welcomed the new Samsung edition which delivers a large display of 3.2-inch WQGA touchscreen with 262K colors and 240 x 400 pixels resolution. The Bada powered handset sports a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, smile detection, geo-tagging and video recording features.
Samsung Wave 723 has an aluminum casing and a flip cover which gives protection against scratches and dust. The phone is smartly designed which is lightweight and measure 109.5 x 53.9 x 11.8 mm.
