The Nexus S might really be the most desired gift this holiday season for the real technophiles. In all seriousness it’s probably not gonna show up berfore Christmas, but it has shown up on the desk of the FCC.
This is the second time Samsung’s Nexus S has surfaced at the FCC. This time it shows up with a new set of antennas. The Nexus S, still carrying the Samsung GT-i9020T model name, has a new Bluetooth antenna, and a new WiFi antenna. Both of which are different from the first time it appeared at the FCC. This newly revised version also appears to of have received a new GPS sensor and antenna. Looks like a basic antenna makeover.
So far that was all that was learned from this latest FCC certification report. No new specs have been revealed or revised, just the set of antennas. So unless we hear otherwise, we can still assume it’s still going to come loaded with with a ARM based dual core processor. We can also assume that its nearing its release. Usually when a device makes its second round through the FCC, it means the final version is near, and will be ready for the public soon
We will be keeping a close eye on this, here at BlogsDNA. In the meantime you can check out the FCC report here.
