We are still waiting for that official announcement from Google, regarding the release of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In the meantime we get a somewhat official video glance into the user interface and the functionality of the voice search feature.
It’s a bit surprising that the video had gone unnoticed for over week. Maybe cause it was done in Cantonese, but nevertheless it was an official Google authored video posted on the GOOGLEinHK’s YouTube channel. Nobody knows for sure if this is a mistake by Google or not, eitherway we’re all happy about it.
The Google video displays the subtle changes in Gingerbread. It seems its going to be a very small overall upgrade from Froyo, and so far the nicest addition is the new button design inside of Settings Menu. There is some slight color change, for example the notification bar is now a solid black and not white. The rest you can see for yourself after the break.
