Tech-related firms, each year await the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to unveil some great new gadgets. Samsung, after a successful year of the Galaxy S smartphone and tablet PC, the tech giant is gearing up for the launch of the first-ever iPod Touch look-alike. Moving on with the trend of the Galaxy Series, Samsung is to release the Galaxy Player powered by the Google Android Operating System.
The gadget would surely act as a rival to the iPod touch at the CES 2011, to be held next week. Samsung Hub reported that the media player will be modeled after the Galaxy S smartphone, running the Android OS 2.2 Froyo. Furthermore, the Galaxy Player would feature two cameras, front and rear facing, coming in 8, 16, and 32 GB models.
