Here is an interesting conversation on twitter we found between iH8sn0w & MacHackPC. As per this conversation iH8sn0w is developing an utility which will allow users to extract SHSH blobs. You may argue what’s new in this as the same job is done by Cydia & TinyUmbrella desktop utility.
Well thing is that both utility can only extract SHSH blobs for those firmware for which Apple firmware signing window is open, once Apple stops signing shsh blobs for old firmware you have no way to get back. But the utility on which iH8sn0w is working will allow extracting SHSH blobs even on older firmware’s. Bringing back the opportunity for those who misses saving hashes for their iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad.
The importance of saving hashes can only be noticed from Redsn0w 0.9.7b4 requires for getting untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1. So lets hope iH8sn0w finishes his work and it wil be savour for those who couldn’t save iOS 4.2 Beta 3 hashes and stuck with tethered jailbreak.
One Response to iH8sn0w Working on SHSH Blobs Extracting Utility to Save Hashes For Even Older Firmwares

Keep up that good work and thanks
