Whether you are planning on taking your MacBook camping, or simply want the most efficient way to keep your laptop, phone, or camera juiced up, there is a way to charge your device’s battery using solar power.
The Apple Juicz is a photoelectric folding solar panel created by QuickerTek that allows you to absorb sunlight and use it to recharge any of Apple’s MacBooks. There are currently two models including a 27-watt panel that will recharge the MacBook Air in 12 hours, and a 55-watt version that will charge the device in 6 hours.
The product comes with a MagSafe connector to connect your MacBook of choice, as well as a 12V car charger. It also comes with a cable for charging other products made by QuickerTek, such as external batteries. The company will also provide you with other custom built connectors for cell phones, cameras, and other devices upon request, at no extra charge.
You can grab the 27-watt Apple Juicz for $700, or the 55-watt version for $1200.
