The GoFlex™ for Mac external drives are designed to make it easy for users who use the Mac OS X and Time Machine to backup, shuttle, or share their content.
The mass storage external hard drives for desktop solutions are HFS+ formatted, which makes them fully compatible with the Apple Time Machine® backup software while also having the ability to work on Microsoft Windows platform. GoFlex for Mac drives can also be used on computers running Windows with a simple download of the HFS+ driver for Windows.
The newly introduced GoFlex for Mac external hard disk comes packed with FireWire® 800 and USB 2.0 adapters, delivering one of the most popular interfaces for Apple computers, while also having the ability to change the drive’s interface to USB 3.0.
The GoFlex interface cables help deliver speed, performance and connectivity users need while keeping in view on security issues. Apart from the features and performance, the product has been custom designed to match Apple’s products making it durable, metallic finish, soft-touch, and also having the ability to withstand scratches or fingerprints.
