The new Android Market is already available on all the Android Eclair and FroYo smartphones, but it was not available on the Android Gingerbread powered Nexus S due to some unknown reasons. Finally, the new Android Market is available on the Google Nexus S smartphone. According to Android Central, the new Android Market was not available on Nexus S due to the Gingerbread’s compatibility problem with the current client.
Don’t panic if you still haven’t received the Android Market update. This update will be silently pushed to your Nexus S phone in the coming days.
