Apple might be planning to unveil its second-generation iPad, at a planned small event to be held in March. Rumors have been widely spread after an unreleased version of the iPad was spotted at a recent held News Corp event. Moreover the upcoming device is being rumored to include near-field communication (NFC) technology.
Macotakara.jp, a blog which has sometimes generated some accurate leads regarding Apple’s upcoming plans reported that the Cupertino-based company “seems to open a small event to introduce the next generation of iPad.” The blog further mentioned that the event might just honor the device as an announcement rather a launch.
All eyes are now at the event with Apple revealing the product with details on shipments and international availability.
Apple is busy developing new accessories that will help communicate with the NFC radio chips inside the future iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad.
