iOS, Apple’s mobile device operating system, is going to be upgraded to 4.3, and although initially rumoured to be released today, its release may be pushed back to the end of month, rumours started by complimentary The Daily subscriptions being extended towards the end of the month.
Rumours around the Internet suggested that this next release of Apple’s polished operating system was to be released at 10AM PST today, but people waiting with bated breath have found this not to be the case.
Immediately afterwards though, German tech blog Macerkopf reported that complimentary The Daily subscriptions have been pushed to the end of the month.
As most know, The Daily will be based on a currently unimplemented subscription system. This subscription system is set to be implemented in iOS 4.3, without it, The Daily would not be earning any income.
With all these rumours flying around, it’s hard to know what to believe but what is certain, is that unless News Corporation became extremely generous all of a sudden, an iOS 4.3 release prior to February 28 is unlikely.
Update iOS 4.3 GM has been released and here is our Jailbreak iOS 4.3 iPhone 4 Guide.
