Recently, LG announced the world’s first full 3D smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona. The LG Optimus 3D runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, but it will be later updated to the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. It is also the world’s first smartphone with the unique “tri-dual” configuration – dual-core, dual-channel and dual-memory. Check out the complete specs, after the break.

LG Optimus 3D allows you to browse web pages, multitask between programs, play games at a higher frame rate and enjoy movies more smoothly and longer than before. You can watch 3D contents on the large 4.3 inch display, without the use of glasses. You can directly upload your 3D contents to the YouTube 3D channel. The price and availability of this handset is not announced yet.
