Taiwanese computer maker, Acer, is voiced to be hard at work on releasing a Windows Phone 7 device, and making it available for purchase sometime in September or October 2011. Even though the company has shown interest in unveiling the Windows Phone 7 powered device, Acer would carry on its support for the Android.
Currently, the Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system is successfully running on six major mobile handset makers, HTC, Samung, Dell, LG, Asus and recent development with world’s known Finnish mobile maker, Nokia.
By September this year, Acer would join these six handset makers unveiling a couple of new WP7 based devices. An Acer spokesman confirmed the company’s plan to launch WP7 powered devices this year.
