Back in 2005, Google Inc. acquired Android Inc., the initial developer of the software, delivering key solutions which include an operating system, middleware and some great apps. Android OS, based upon a modified version of the Linux kernel, Google ventured with the Open Handset Alliance to work on Android’s development and release.
Over a short period of time, Google’s Android Operating System managed to become the world’s best-selling smartphone platform.
Recently, I spotted a video on the official Android Developers YouTube channel, displaying a fascinating look since the release of the first handsets running the OS. The data gathered displays the entire globe with the actual happening and Outbreak is registered marking the launch of popular phones like the Motorola Droid in the U.S. and the Samsung Galaxy S Worldwide.
