Anyone using an Android device would have guessed the whole story until now, partly by reading the title of this post and partly by looking into the screenshot above. Rumors are going strong that, Apple is testing (inspired by Android) gesture based look screen for iOS devices.
According to the reports and screenshots provided by an Apple insider to 9to5mac, the screenshot shows a new gesture-based lock screen for iOS devices, which is usually found on many Android phones using the stock Android version by Google.
The lock screen is apparently part of an unreleased application called ”Apple Connect”. The real purpose of the application isn’t clear until now, though the information from the source suggests that the new lock screen will apparently be making its way into more internal Apple tools.
We are still not sure over the fact that whether or not iOS users will ever get a gesture based lock-screen. But if you are one of the many daring people, who set their iOS devices free by jailbreak, you can already find one such gesture based lock application called AndroidLock.
Do you know about any other similar app for jailbroken iOS devices? Do let us know in the comments.
