Many media and technology blogs are pretty much assured that Steve Jobs will make an appearance today at the iPad 2 event, however short. This was the least expected news, owing to the bad health conditions of the Apple CEO, and is the one news that will again pump up the enthusiasm of Apple enthusiasts and Fanboys.
All things digital has also confirmed that Jobs is “definitely considering” making an appearance at the event, most likely as a brief one with other executives on the stage, when the next generation iPad 2 is announced. But as always with other Apple events, this is not yet confirmed.
As quoted from the blog:
According to several sources close to the situation, Apple CEO Steve Jobs – who is on a health-related leave from the company – is definitely considering an appearance at its big iPad 2 event tomorrow.
But the possibility – which would be a big sensation at the San Francisco gathering – is also just as definitely not confirmed as yet, stressed sources.
If he did appear, sources said Jobs would at least make a brief appearance onstage, along with other top company execs in showing off Apple’s latest version of it hugely popular tablet.
Apart from the much awaited announcement of iPad 2, Apple is also expected to preview the iOS 5 at the event in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Apple is scheduled to host the iPad 2 event today [11:30 PM IST], and the good news had already come that you would be able to purchase iPad 2 right after its announcement.
