According to some of the latest reports, as believed, popular mobile carrier Sprint might be gearing up to add a new Google phone, most probably the Samsung Nexus S. Still under construction, the page which links to the company’s plans on rolling out a brand new smartphone.
Currently, the webpage displays a message that reads “We’re not quite done yet. But come back because this page will be ready soon.”
To add a little spice to this, the wireless carrier made an announcement, on something new, coming soon on March 22 and there are great chances that the company might be unveiling the said Nexus S smartphone.
With the release of the Nexus S over the Sprint network, the carrier would be the first CDMA wireless carrier in the United States to carry the Google’s Nexus S handset. Recently, Google had also promised on the availability of its Nexus smartphones on CDMA carriers.
Moreover, rumors suggest that the Nexus S, apart from the usual 3G connectivity, it would also include support for 4G networks. If the rumors turn out to be true, the Nexus smartphone would become the first handset to include 4G connectivity.
