According to the post on Internet Explorer blog, it is confirmed now that the final build of Internet Explorer 9 will be released on March 14th, 2011. It will be released on 9 PM Pacific Time to coincide with the time of Beauty of the Web party at SXSW.
We have been tracking Internet Explorer extensively, right from its beta to the release candidate version. From the reviews of the RC and beta version, it looks like Microsoft has invested a lot of time, money and effort into creating a browser that competes with browsers of the new generation (read Firefox and Google Chrome).
The Internet Explorer 9 actually carries with it a pretty interface. The tabs are placed on the top along with the address bar, that brings a nice and beautiful UI. Microsoft has also learned s0me new tricks from its competitive browsers like Firefox and Chrome. IE 9 will also sport a ‘omnibar’ like Chrome, sans the instant feature. As with the previous version, IE 9 will also support private browsing and a number of privacy features.
With so many new and beautiful things to see in the “ugly” child of Microsoft, even we are definitely excited.
