If you have followed our iPad 2 Jailbreak situation article then you will knowing that SHAtter and Limera1n bootrom exploit was early hopes for possible iPad 2 Jailbreak on iOS 4.3. Now that iPad 2 is in hands of users and devs they have already started looking testing bootrom exploits on iPad 2.
The results are not in favor of jailbreakers, both the bootrom exploit are said to be fixed in iPad 2. The limera1n exploit was fixed somewhere in March 10 and similarly SHAtter also seems to have been fixed by Apple. The situation seems even more disappointing as Comex just tweeted about his best kernel bug is also closed in iOS 4.3.
Now this leaves us with no working bootrom exploit for iPod 2 and have to rely on new userland jailbreak for iPad 2. On side note jailbreak iOS 4.3 untethered is already achieved by Stefan Esser.
We are sure dev teams will make their way to iPad 2 jailbreak very soon, Stay tuned with us for more on iPad 2 jailbreak.
