LG recently announced the Thrill 4G smartphone. This handset runs on the Android 2.2 (FroYo) operating system and it will be exclusively available on the airwaves of AT&T in the US. The LG Thrill 4G comes with a 5 megapixel dual-lens camera with HD (720p) video recording and much more. This handset is basically the LG Optimus 3G with the AT&T branding. LG Thrill 4G is also the first smartphone in the United States to feature glasses-free 3D view, shoot and share technology.

We have taken mobile phone technology to the next level with another first to market feature, this time being 3D capabilities,” said Tim O’Brien, vice president of marketing for LG Mobile Phones. “This device elevates everyday tasks and entertainment to a new dimension of smartphone performance, giving LG Thrill 4G an edge over other devices in the emerging superphone category.”
LG Thrill 4G features a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, 1 GHz dual-core/dual-channel processor, Android 2.2 OS (upgradeable to Android 2.3), Glasses-free 3D, Wi-Fi, 4G Connectivity, 5 megapixel dual-lens camera, Full HD (1080p) video recording and playback in 2D, HD (720p) video recording and playback in 3D, 8 GB internal memory, 8 GB microSD card bundled, 32 GB expandable memory, HSPA+, HDMI 1.4, DLNA connectivity, 3.5mm headset jack and a 1500 mAh battery.
LG Thrill 4G allows you to play videos in high definition through the HDMI-out port on the device or stream content wirelessly through DLNA technology. You can even access more than 150,000 apps from the Android Store. LG Thrill 4G will be available in the coming months. The price of this device has not been announced yet.
