Earlier this year, Dell announced its latest tablet device, the Dell Streak 7 at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. This device comes with a 7 inch display and it runs on the old Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, instead of the Android Honeycomb OS, which is specially designed for tablet devices. The Wi-Fi only version of this device has not announced yet, but the Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi is already up for pre-order at Amazon.
Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi features a 7 inch WVGA TFT touch screen display with Gorilla Glass, Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, 1Ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, Swype virtual keyboard, SMS/MMS, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth 2.1, 5 megapixel rear camera, Qik video chat with built-in front-facing 1.3-megapixel webcam, Adobe Flash Player, 16 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32GB expandable memory, Android Market and a 2780 mAh battery.
Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi is currently up for pre-order at Amazon in the US. This device comes with a price tag of $379.99. The release date of this havice has not been mentioned by the Amazon yet.
