Google Buzz lets us easily start conversations with our contacts about the things we find interesting. We can choose to share publicly or privately. To get started with Buzz, a user does not have to get anything additionally set up: Buzz works by integrating itself into Gmail and users can access it from their left panel in Gmail.
In a way it acts as status message which we set on our online social networking accounts; but in Buzz, we can add photos, videos, and then browser others’ photos and videos at a greatly fast speed.
If you take advantage of Buzz’s sharing capabilities, and use Chrome as your internet browser, then we have a great tool for you which will make using Buzz a lot easier. The tool is called Chrome Buzz.
Chrome Buzz is a free extension for the Google Chrome browser that increases the accessibility of your Buzz account. After you have installed it, like most Chrome extensions it will place its icon in your Chrome browser’s address bar.
Before you get started with using the extension you will first need to sign in to your Gmail account in your browser. Once you do that see if you are following anybody on Buzz whose updates you will be able to see. If you are not following anybody, then start following one of your contacts.
Once your Buzz account starts receiving updates, you can view them in a drop down window which will be shown every time you click on the Chrome Buzz’s icon in the address bar.
This way you will be able to quickly see the Buzz updates of the people you are following.
A great extension that does exactly what it is supposed to, Chrome Buzz deserves two thumbs up.
