Picnik, the online photo editing site, has just announced that it has been acquired by Google.
The details of the deal are still not too clear, but the acquisition was announced on the company’s blog. As for the stats, Picnik currently has 20 employees, and boasts of millions of visitors every month. The photo editing website offers a number of third-party services too, through free as well as a paid account. As quoted on the post, the service will remain online and unchanged for now. Also, the price of the acquisition has not been disclosed for now.
