Gizmodo has finally confirmed that the rumored Pink project by Microsoft is for real and it is coming with Verizon. It has also reported that it has been spotted in third-party marketing material with a Verizon’s as well as Microsoft’s logo. Details of the project and plan are included in the campaign, however details are not mentioned in the post.
These are some of the details about the Microsoft Pink Project that we can conclude, from this campaign:
- Only the Turtle is shown out of the two devices. There is no mention about the second device, Pure.
- Verizon will be the official carrier.
- These phones do not run any version of Windows 7. They are entirely different, but we do not know any further details.
- One thing for sure is that, there will be heavy integration of social networking on these phones, through customized apps.
Also there is no confirmed information about pricing or launch date.
Surprisingly Gizmodo has posted some leaked pics of Pure. But these photos are blurry and the interface looks some kind of version of Windows 7 we have not experienced so far. But these pics do not look satisfactory to us for now:
