Emails came out early yesterday from email early in the a.m. from Tether, formerly known as TetherBerry. Their TetherBerry app gave over 110,000 BlackBerry Smartphones the ability to share their data connection with their computers. Since the company has evolved into simply Tether and they have just released a beta version of their software for Android. Tether software offers free tethering without any special add on plans
through your carrier and without hacking your phone. The Blackberry version was excellent and was very popular, we can expect the same with Android version. One thing to note is that Blackberry version costs $49.95, which is quite a lot for the Android Market. But its in beta right now I assume that they will adjust the price accordingly when the the time comes. Now the first wave of beta invites were sent out today to those that had previously signed up. But there is a signup available for those that wanna check this beata out! Goto http://tether.com/android-beta for further instructions, and have fun Tethering.
