Twitter started out as a somewhat unusual online social media network. Things were made very accessible and open; this had many possibilities. Indeed quite a number of these possibilities have materialized. For instance the gap between celebrities and their fans, governments and the people they depend on, organizations and their customers has been filled by Twitter to a remarkable degree. In all cases, Tweeters can Tweet about what is the latest happening and the ‘Tweetees’ can stay informed.
This new set of frameworks is currently being called @anywhere.
In its initial stages, the site’s that will employ @anywhere include Amazon, AdAge, Bing, Citysearch, Digg, eBay, The Huffington Post, Meebo, MSNBC.com, The New York Times, Salesforce.com, Yahoo!, and YouTube. This means that without leaving these websites, we will be able to share our messages/URLs via Tweets in the built-in Twitter tool on the site.
This move will only better Twitter and expand its horizons. I only wish that @anywhere is released as soon as possible.
