I came across a cool article over at Pocket-Lint which shows us how to really make our Anroid phones something special and cool to look at. There are many homescreen apps and widgets and basic tricks and setting you can tweak.  By default the Android’s homescreen is ok, there is enough customization options to start out with.  And with help from the Android Market maybe you can download a weather widget, and you’ve got yourself something that looks pretty good, maybe better than your old Blackberry.  If you have not rooted or have no plans to root your phone, than there is chance you might get bored of the Android OS.  A good web browsing experience a few cool apps and your gmail account will only take you so far.  Or you could a Hero owner and have the wonderfull HTC SenseUI to play with and all those cool looking widgets to look at.  If not, than there a few well laid out steps you can take to vastly improve your Android experience. The full article which is broken down into 5 steps, covers Customization, to getting the right apps, and finally to reading and following all the great forums and Android sites.  Head over to Pocket-Lint for the full article.
