Some good news for Mac gamers today as GamePro reports developer Blizzard doing all but confirming the upcoming release of a Mac beta for the highly anticipated next installment in the successful StartCraft franchise, StarCraft II, in April. The beta for PC has been on the go now for about a month. However, whether or not Mac gamers get to participate in a beta anytime soon is really irrelevant for those hoping to eventually get your hands on the game, as it has pretty much been confirmed since the start that the finished product would eventually make it to both platforms.
During a Q&A session Blizzard had with StarCraft fans through the official StarCraft Twitter account, deveopers responded to a question about the Mac beta by saying, “We are currently working on a Mac version of the beta and hope to release it sometime in April. Hang in there!!”
