Today we decided to combine a couple of the latest DLC announcements. Today BioWare gave the highly anticipated “Firewalker” DLC an official release date of Tuesday, March 23. The DLC pack will include 5 new missions featuring the Hammerhead, a “heavy assault vehicle that hovers over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering.” The Firewalker DLC will be available free to Cerebus Network members.

Another DLC given a solid release date today was Heavy Rain with the first DLC for the title called “Chapter 1 of the Heavy Rain Chronicles”. SCEA Product Marketing Manager Jefferson Dong made a statement about the DLC on the Official Playstation Blog saying, “In a similar manner to the unique, cinematic gameplay style of Heavy Rain, you will play Madison, and be presented with a number of tense situations and decisions, as she digs further into the case, which of course, will determine one of many different outcomes.”

Chapter 1 of the Heavy Rain Chronicles DLC will be available April 1 for $4.99

For those of you that have been having issues with Heavy Rain that many have described as “freezing” and “crashing”, you will be happy to know developers Quantic Dream also announced a second patch made available today to address stability issues.
