Well that today’s Android 2.1 update rumor. Apparently hidden inside last week’s Nexus One announcement, Sprint addressed upgrades to its current line of Android handsets. It looks as if Sprint is working quietly, but hard on getting Android 2.1 ready for the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment. Rumor has that Sprint will start rolling out this update as early as March 26th. I guess some rabid Sprint customers managed to extract that date from some Sprint customer service reps over the phone. There isn’t much more to this story right now, but this whole update thing isn’t written in stone. As we all have seen with the Droid and Verizon. Sprint users just keep your eyes and ears 0pen for anything more concrete in the coming days.
