Some more details of Bitbop, Fox’s mobile video service, were revealed today and it would seem that the network is pretty serious about competing with some of the other downloadable TV apps available on the mobile market. Electronista reports that the service will more than likely be on all internet enabled smartphone-like devices noting the Android platform and an iPhone app being obvious first moves for Fox. Bitbop would essentially allow you to steam full-length TV shows and movies over Wi-Fi or 3G. However, while the initial app is going to be made available for free, select programming will require a $10 a month subscription fee. The app is reportedly almost ready and should be available within the next few weeks.
