Fans of the Capcom’s Lost Planet franchise will be happy to know that Capcom today announced that the sequel in the series, Lost Planet 2, will be released one week earlier than originally announced on Tuesday, May 11 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The announcement came from the official Lost Planet 2 blog, and also came with the news that there would be a new multiplayer demo for the title available on PSN and Xbox Live on April 21. However, Lost Planet community members will be issued early access codes for the multiplayer demo which will give them access on March 31st. Stay posted to the Lost Planet 2 blog for more information.
Unfortunately, PC gamers are going to have to wait for Lost Planet 2 until sometime in the Fall and there is no word of a demo or beta planned as of yet.
